Cravin' Creole was founded in 2017 by Chef Will Staten, Cravin’ Creole was a branch underneath the parent brand Ragin’ Cajun Cookin’, and focuses on the higher end gourmet style cuisine-fare that Creole culture is known for. Cravin’ Creole has direct ancestral roots down south, from the Carolinas and Alabama, to (you named it) the gulfs of Louisiana and Mississippi. Utilizing the heritage and traditions of Creole culture is truly what we are focused on. Showcasing the many different influences of cultures from parts of France, Africa, Asia, Portugal, Latin America is what Cravin’ Creole is all about.

We take the traditional tastes and flavors of globally popular Creole & Cajun Cuisine, and put our Tastefully Twisted approach into our customized creations. From our Gumbo Poutine & Bananas Foster French Toast, to our Jambalaya Egg-rolls & Seafood Etouffee, we are constantly evolving as our Creole culture has done for years. Corn (Maize) is a staple in many current households and was one of the first items utilized by the indigenous people of South America, Mexico and the early parts of the US. The earliest Native Americans to cultivate corn were the Pueblo people of the American southwest, whose culture was transformed by the arrival of corn in 1,200 B.C. By A.D. 1,000, corn was a staple crop that sustained tribes like the Creek, Cherokee and Iroquois. #creole cuisine and culture has many roots from across the globe, and its influences are seen in the foods we create. Christmas Eve is right around the corner and we’re packaging up our signature Gumbo Ya-Ya, Creole Hot Sauce and All-Purpose Creole Spice Rub just for you and your family! Deadline to order is Saturday, Dec. 23rd as ALL ORDERS will be available for Pickup ONLY, on Sunday, Christmas Eve. Historic Note: When the Louisiana territory was traded to Spain in 1763, the Spanish added their influence to Creole cuisine. They mixed meat and fish in one dish. Until this time, a sausage and shrimp jambalaya was not common.
